Originally this car was fitted with a 3k engine which is a 1.2l pushrod engine. It is not the most powerful engine in the world so an engine conversion was in order. I have always wanted to fit a twin cam engine to one of these Corolla's so I decided on using a 4AGE engine from an AE92 Corolla. It is the 100kw version of the 4AGE and should provide a big improvement over the old 3k.
